The Virtual road is coming to an end with its final stop in Paris this weekend guys.
Those streams have been such a blast seriously. A celebration of music and memories, providing joy and love that were so needed these days. But it also brought something else. A meeting point, a rendez vous for all of us to come together and have fun. A freaking party for the online U2 community.
How about we give some of that love back before we part again? How about we sing our hearts out like we would at any U2 show? Let our voices be heard, not as individuals but as a crowd, as a community.
The singalong on One during the Paris show is one epic symbol of unity. They gave us a song, and we made it ours. Sisters, brothers – that’s our hymn. That’s our tribe. That’s our community.
Can we make it happen again virtually? I think we can.
Let’s flood twitter with ‘One’ lyrics during said song for that last live stream using #U2one #TheVirtualRoad hashtags, and let’s sing/tweet our hearts out one more time. Post it all, tweet along or just go for the ones that matter to you. Whatever works.
